A898 Erskine Bridge

The A898 Erskine Bridge is a large multi-span cable-stayed bridge spanning the River Clyde, Forth and Clyde Canals and also the North Clyde railway line. Almost 300 TRT Aspect lanterns have been supplied as part of the renovation project by Traffic Scotland to improve visibility, safety and ultimately reduce energy consumption not just across the bridge but also on the Northern and Southern approach roads. Each individual luminaire is fitted with an 868MHz node allowing offsite control and monitoring all being fed back to a central control station.
